Solving problems on urban or rural sites, for small to large private properties, for farms and commercial land.

Tracking water flows, pipes, cables, calculating the optimum position to divert a flow from a building, optimum pond sites, potable water location, pollution investigation and more.

Recent example: several days in Whitehaven, Cumbria charged with demonstrating the source of orange pollution running into the harbour at two points. To take up this challenge I had to pass a test. A remote diviner and I were asked to determine by divining the contents of two vials which had already been analysed in a US lab. My approach was to focus on the periodic table.  We both concurred with the lab, finding high radioactivity in vial one combined with heavy metals and a different combination in vial two. The task could have been overwhelming but I took the step by step approach which to me fits with the binary process of divining. There were multiple former mine tunnels, shafts filled with toxic material and underground flows that all played a part.  A diviner can measure depths but this survey was more of a 'spaghetti junction' of and ladders. For example one area of disrepair allowed a beck to carry Cadmium out of a former mine tunnel and into another flow. This was an opportunity for diversion. The map divining led to discoveries regarding a nuclear processing plant's daily discharge schedule from two locations, this information was later verified. 

Each investigation is unique and simply the next opportunity to help. 

The ancient art of water divining is far from lost but in these concerning times of climate change there is an urgent need for the service. We run water divining courses so that the skill can be applied in future challenging times. It is in fact the only way to predict an optimum water supply access point. 

When a water diviner is locating water in the ground the divining reaction is due to changes in the geo-magnetic field where water lines occur. The geo-magnetic field gives us gravity, It is caused by the iron core and the planet's rotation.
When water is running underground it creates a  detectable energy effect. This field is sensed by magnetite in the cerebellum and  produces the divining reaction in your muscles .

Initially contact Sue oin nts on the telephone or by Zoom and will agree an outline. Onsite charges vary depending on distance and number of surveys require. Remote surveys can be purchased in the below-mentioned bronze, silver, bronze packages.

An onsite survey looks at one or more veins, aquifers, (blind) springs, (former) wells multi-point supplies to optimise your borehole(s), direction, yield, extractability and depth of flow.

Accuracy is within centimetres.

An offsite survey 100% confirms the presence and location of the water supply/supplies, includes the above details and will be within approximately 7 metres. An offsite survey after an onsite visit is accurate wiithin centimetres

At  last year's British Society of Dowsers conference Sue received the water diviner award for 2024, the first occasion it has been handed out for many years.

You too can work towards this award! The society which was founded in 1933 confirms more diviners are needed urgently.

Your steps towards becoming a professional water diviner: 

1 attend an introductory course

2 practise

3 attend a level 2 course and search out opportunities to practise onsite for friends and family

4 apprentice shadowing and hopefully connecting with a drilling company.

After 6 years approximately of focus and a wide range of challenges you are headed in the right direction.

You will differ from all other dowsers for example in your choice of tool, or lack of tool,  but you will never feel more at home than when you are discussing a project or talking through our amazing experiences. Some people use a wooden y-rod, some a plastic one, some a pendulum. 

There is no limit to the wider possibilities of dowsing!

A zoom option is offered for prospective water divining course participants if they are complete beginners.
